Influence of different aid initiation materials on laser thruster impulse

摘要: 为了获得不同辅助材料对激光推进器工作性能的影响,利用高速运动分析仪测量冲击摆的最大摆角,根据摆角确定激光推进器的冲量,测量了不同辅助启动材料下激光推进器冲量。在压强为0.1 MPa时,POM辅助下激光推进器冲量为4.6 mN.s,是未辅助时的2.496倍。试验结果表明:大部分辅助启动能够明显地增强等离子体的能量吸收率,高分子材料POM的辅助启动效果最佳;随着环境压强的下降,辅助启动的作用更加重要。

Abstract: In order to investigate the influence of different aid initiation materials on laser thruster,the maximum swing angle was measured by using the swing track screened with Hi-spec camera.Based on the swing angle,impulse of laser thruster was obtained using different aid initiation materials.When ambient pressure is 0.1 MPa,the impulse of laser thruster with the aid of POM is 46 mN·s and this is 2.496 times of that without aid initiation.The result shows that most of the aid initiation materials can increase the plasma. If the aid initiation material is POM,the laser thruster impulse is the largest.The aid initiation becomes more and more important as the ambient pressure decreases.
