Abstract: This paper presents the experimental results of thermal friction coefficient between the carbon/ carbon material and moulded asbestos/phenolic material by SRV high temperature friction wear testing machine. The test design and specimen sampling are based on the real work conditions. The variation regularity of friction coefficient with temperature, contact load and friction speed are generalized. The test results show that increasing the temperature may decrease the thermal friction coefficient between the carbon/carbon material and moulded asbestos/phenolic material; the friction coefficient of the throat component with glue is larger than the component without glue significantly.Increasing the load may reduce the friction coefficient obscurely. With the friction speed enhanced, the coefficient increases obviously. The test results can provide some helpful reference value to the modification of nozzle thermal structure analysis model with high precision calculation. 
