Abstract: In this paper the one dimensional semi-steady solutions for the internal ballistic problem of solid rocket motors are discussed in particular.It is pointed out that there are two solutions for the above problem, the equilibrium solution and the unequilibrium solution.It is shown with calculations of examples that the unequil-ibrium solution is better than the equilibrium solution.
