Abstract: Some commentaries are made on following problems: importance of burning rate prediction, difference between real rate and predicted results, handling method for burning rate in SPP program, effect of measurement accuracy on the burning rate correlation.The taper tendency of cigeratte burning and the hump phenomena of inside-surface burning of grain are discussed. Some ideas about how to carry out the research work of burning rate prediction are suggested.
