Abstract: MAPO-acetic acid adduct is an important component in HTPB Propellant, its performance repeatability affects the stabilization of the mechanical properties of propellants.So the normalization of its synthesis method is essential. In this investigation,a two-step method has been established based on theoritical analysis and experimental test. By using the method, the complexing reaction and esterification reaction occur separately, so that the heat accumulation caused by the two reactions could be avoided. It is easy to control the technical process. As a result, the reaction product can be obtained with high repeatability and good properties.
