Abstract: It is proposed that the mean burning rate in solid rocket motor can be predicted by using propcllant burning performance paramc-ters,which depend on both propellant and burning environment. A feasible method for prediciting the solid rocket motor mean burning rate is discussed in the paper, and the resales are in agreement with the test data.
