Propagating process of cracks on polysulfide propellant during combustion

摘要: 研究了影响聚硫推进剂试件内裂纹扩展的各种因素。对含裂纹的推进剂试件进行了大量的燃烧试验 ,其燃烧过程用 X射线实时成像系统进行了记录 ;并用粘弹性有限元方法计算了试件在燃烧过程中的应力应变状态 ,利用 J积分法对裂纹扩展的可能性进行了预估。理论分析和试验结果均表明 :燃烧室增压速率、裂纹尺寸、边界条件等因素对裂纹的扩展均有较强的影响。该研究结果对制定固体火箭发动机装药失效判据有一定的参考价值

Abstract: Investigated the various factors which affect the propagating process of the crack in polysulfide propellant sample Combustion experiments were conducted for samples with cracks and the combustion process is measured by the X ray real time radiography system (RTR) The states of stress and strain of the various parts in the sample with cracks were analysed and computed by the viscoelastic finite element method (FEM) The possibility of the crack propagation was predicted by the J integral fracture criterion Theoretical analysis and experimental result show that the chamber pressurization rate,the crack dimensions and the boundary condition have stronger effects on the propagation of the crack These results will have certain value the criterion determination of propellant failure
