Interfacial reinforcement of neutral polymeric bonding agents (NPBA) in nitramine propellants

摘要: 采用溶胀比测试和原位拉伸扫描电镜观测等手段 ,研究了中性聚合物键合剂 (NPBA)对硝胺填充固体推进剂界面作用的影响。结果表明 ,NPBA能在硝胺颗粒周围形成一层高模量中间相 ,有效地解决了“脱湿”问题 ,提高了推进剂的拉伸性能。

Abstract: In situ observations of scanning electron microscopy(SEM) during uniaxial tensile process and swelling ratio measurements were applied to study the influences of neutral polymeric bonding agents(NPBA)on the interfacial interactions between the polymer matrix and organic nitramine fillers in the solid propellant. The results show that NPBA is able to form a high modulus interphase around the HMX filler particles, which may effectively improve the affinity of the two phases and successively solve the problems of "dewetting". It is a promising way for improving the mechanical properties of the propellant.
