20cm氙离子推力器性能扩展研究

摘要: 为了满足未来深空探测任务的需求,在20cm氙离子推力器的技术基础上,对其性能进行扩展提升研究,将推力提高50%,使推力由原来的40mN提高到60mN。通过对离子推力器工作参数的分析与研究,确定了离子推力器60mN推力模式的工作参数,并进行了优化实验。结果表明:性能扩展的20cm氙离子推力器推力提高到60mN,比冲提高到3500s,效率也提高到65%,并能够在40mN和60mN二种推力模式下工作。通过对2台推力器的组合,能够实现40,60,80,100,120mN五种推力工作模式。

Abstract: In order to meet the demand of deep space exploration,study was carried out based on the heritage of 20cm Xenon Ion Thruster to enhance its performance. Thrust increased from 40mN to 60mN,which is improved by 50%. The operating parameters at 60mN were finalized by the study and analysis and optimization with experiments. The results show that the thrust is extended to 60mN,and specific impulse increases to 3500s. Meanwhile efficiency is improved to 65%. After performance improvement,the thruster can be operated in 2 operating modes which are 40mN and 60mN,respectively. In addition,it is achievable for 40mN,60mN,80mN,100mN and 120mN 5 operating modes by combination of two thrusters,which can be adopted for deep space exploration.
