Abstract: This is an address made by prof. Ren Xinmin in the MOA Propulsion Conference held in Suzhou, Septemberl9870 It deals with the current status and outlook of U.S. Space Transportation System on three subjects, the National Aero-Space Plane Program, the Shuttle 2 and the High Lift Launching Vehicles.
