Abstract: In this paper,the progress of the gem-bis(ferrocenyl)alkane chemistry during the last thirty years is briefly , reviewed.Its classification, relationship between structure and physic natures,synthetic methods, reaction mechanism of GBA and its application in propellant and other fields are generally discussed.
