Burning rate optimization of nitramine modified double base propellants with secondary flame inhibitors

含消焰剂硝胺推进剂燃烧性能的调节

Abstract: Two methods were employed to eliminate the destruction of secondary flame inhibitor to plateau effect of nitramine modified double base propellants One is the pre treatment using nitrocellulose coating the inhibitor which destroys the plateau combustion completely Another is adjusting burning rate directly when selecting the inhibitor with little destroy on plateau effect The experimental results show that, to the extrusive nitramine modified double base propellants, both of the two methods can improve the burning characteristics Coating the inhibitor decreases the pressure exponent from 0 79 to 0 35, but can not restore the plateau phenomena which was destroyed by inhibitors By increasing the carbon black content, the second method not only restores the plateau effect which was destroyed by inhibitor in original plateau pressure region, but also makes the burning rate characteristics of propellants with inhibitor better than the one without inhibitor The mechanism of the inhibitors in the plateau combustion was investigated using scanning microscope It shows that the reduction of carbon bone frame in the burning surface of propellants is the reason why plateau combustion is destroyed by inhibitors

摘要: 运用包覆预处理和直接进行燃速调节两种方法 ,消除消焰剂对硝胺改性双基推进剂平台燃烧的破坏作用。应用扫描电子显微镜研究了推进剂熄火表面 ,初步探讨了消焰剂影响平台燃烧的机理。实验结果表明 ,两种方法均改善含消焰剂螺压硝胺推进剂的燃烧性能。对于完全破坏平台效应的消焰剂 ,包覆的方法可使推进剂的燃速压力指数由 0 .79下降到 0 .35,但并不能完全恢复被消焰剂破坏了的平台现象 ;对于影响平台燃烧较小的消焰剂 ,通过在推进剂中增加炭黑的含量 ,不但恢复了被消焰剂破坏了的平台燃烧效应 ,而且 ,使推进剂的平台燃烧性能优于不含消焰剂的基础配方。消焰剂对平台燃烧的破坏 ,与推进剂燃烧表面炭骨架被破坏有关
