Abstract: In order to investigate the effects of liquid-to-air momentum and Weber number on jet penetration,the Planar Laser Induced Fluorescence (PLIF) was used to experiment the penetration characteristic of aviation kerosene. Liquid aviation kerosene was injected into crossflows through a plain orifice injector with a diameter of 0.5mm. Laser (266nm) generated by an Nd:YAG laser system was used to induce fluorescence of kerosene. Tests were conducted at the air pressure ranging from 0.3 to 0.6MPa and an air temperature of 358 K. Liquid-to-air momentum flux ratio varied from 10 to 40,and Weber number covered the range from 170 to 340. Experimental results show that the penetration increased with the increase in liquid-to-air momentum flux ratio at different air pressure. Under the conditions of this paper,Weber number had no significant effect on the jet penetration. Based on the experimental results,a correlation was developed to accurately predict the effects of liquid-to-air momentum flux ratio,Weber number and axial distance on jet penetration over the range of conditions studied.

摘要: 为了研究动量比、韦伯数对射流穿透深度的影响,利用激光诱导荧光(PLIF)技术对航空煤油的穿透特性进行了试验。液态航空煤油通过直径为0.5mm的直射式喷嘴喷射入横向气流,Nd:YAG激光器产生266nm激光用于激发煤油诱导荧光。试验空气压力范围为0.3~0.6MPa,温度358K,动量比范围为10~40,韦伯数范围为170~340。试验结果表明:不同压力下,穿透深度随动量比增加而增加;在本文的工况范围下,韦伯数对射流穿透深度无显著影响。通过对试验数据的分析处理,获得了射流穿透深度关于动量比、韦伯数和轴向距离的经验关系式。
