Effects of Vibration Load on Mechanical Properties of HTPB Propellant with Constant Strain

振动载荷对定应变HTPB推进剂力学性能影响

Abstract: In order to study the effects of vibration load on HTPB propellant with 10% constant strain,two sets of vibration experiments of HTPB propellant with constant strain at 60℃ and 70℃ were conducted. The mechanical properties were measured by uniaxial tension test and the images of the sliced surface and the fracture appearance were observed by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM),the macromechanical properties changing law and microstuctural failure mode were obtained. The results show that the maximum tensile strength of HTPB propellant decreased under vibration load with constant strain (the maximum value decreased more than 5%),while the maximum elongation increased (the maximum value increased more than 15%). Although the vibration load has a little influence on the dewetting of AP particle at early aging time,it can promote the dewetting behavior and reduce the modulus of HTPB propellant when the HTPB propellant has an obvious dewetting phenomenon under constant strain.

摘要: 为了研究振动载荷对定应变HTPB推进剂力学性能的影响,通过60℃和70℃温度下HTPB推进剂10%定应变振动试验,采用单向拉伸法和扫描电镜观测法,对定应变HTPB推进剂在振动载荷作用下的宏观力学性能变化规律和细观损伤模式进行了研究。结果表明:定应变状态下振动载荷的作用使HTPB推进剂的抗拉强度减小(最大值超过5%),最大延伸率增大(最大值超过15%);老化初期振动载荷对高氯酸铵(AP)颗粒脱湿发展影响较小,当定应变状态下推进剂中的AP颗粒脱湿到一定程度时,振动载荷的作用会促进AP颗粒脱湿,降低固体颗粒的模量增强作用。
