Effects of Diversion Angle and Diversion Ring Depth on Initiating Detonation by Shock Wave Focusing

导流角和导流环深度对激波聚焦起爆爆震的影响

Abstract: In order to study the effects of diversion angle and diversion ring depth on initiating detonation by shock wave focusing induced by continuous supersonic jets collision in 2-Stage pulse detonation engine, experiments of initiating detonation by shock wave focusing were carried out with the mixture of gasoline/air, effects of diversion angle and diversion ring depth on initiating detonation were analyzed. The results based on the experimental conditions shows that keeping the diversion ring depth as 20mm, the average peak pressure of strong oscillation combustion is higher and detonation can be initiated easier when the diversion angle is bigger. Keeping the diversion angle as 11°, the average peak pressure of strong oscillation combustion is higher, the combination property of weak oscillation combustion is better and detonation can be initiated easier when the diversion ring depth is bigger.

摘要: 为了研究两级脉冲爆震发动机中的导流角和导流环深度对连续超声速射流对撞诱导激波聚焦起爆爆震的影响,以汽油/空气混合气为介质开展了激波聚焦起爆爆震的实验,分析了导流角、导流环深度对起爆爆震的影响规律。基于本文实验条件的结果表明:保持导流环深度为20mm,导流角越大,强震荡燃烧的平均峰值压力越大,越有利于起爆爆震;保持导流角为11°,导流环深度越大,强震荡燃烧的平均峰值压力越大,弱震荡燃烧的综合性能越好,越有利于起爆爆震。
